These samples show some of the range of possibilities in LaTeX macro packages, in this case written for Pacific Northwest National Labs using PNNL designs, showing reports, slides, and poster macro packages, each with complex specifications.

There are few limitations in design or functionality in LaTeX:

Automated Reports, Books and Journals, Software Documentation, Brochures,
e-Publishing...
